"Sandra Evans Falconer is gifted at connecting with an audience. She has a deeply humanistic way of relating to those around her, first by observing and then by presenting information in a way that they can innately understand. The medical students in my class were very impressed with her dynamic presentation skills and creative ways of expressing some of life's most difficult aspects, such as stress, pain, fatigue, helplessness, anger, as well as the elation of the happy and hopeful moments. She was able to share these experiences in a way that helped the students deeply understand and prepare themselves for the challenges of being a health care provider, including the responsibility of being present and grounded with people in crisis. The field of healthcare needs more teachers like Ms. Evans Falconer."

I feel very fortunate to work with Sandra; she has been a very helpful role model with my application process to graduate school programs in English Literature. As a former graduate student herself,  (she has her MFA in Poetry),  she has guided me through the challenging work of creating a  personal statement clarifying my  goals for graduate level work, and how I envision my future contributions as a professor in the academic environment.  Sandra also gave me an in-depth critique of my undergraduate thesis, showing me ways to hone and strengthen my academic arguments.  Sandra is wonderful to work with, and has been very supportive and encouraging in my success as a scholar, writer, and future role as a teacher/professor in the academic setting.

"I've known Sandra professionally since 1997. I have had the privilege of publishing two books of her poetry and seeing her perform her poetry - amazing! Truthfully, I've never seen anyone deliver poetry in such a unique, powerful and highly entertaining way. She completely engages her audience with costumes and high art. What a fabulous opportunity it would be to learn to do this at her feet! I highly recommend Sandra both as a writing coach and as someone who can show you how to turn poetry into fierce, compelling performance art."

Sandra has helped me find my most authentic voice, and breathe full life into my writing. Working with her, I feel heard, (and triumphant), in my on- going process as a writer.

"...if you are compelled by a piece of work,  by the  poem that you must  write, the one  that won’t stop  hounding you until you get it down on the page, ready to emerge ,vibrant and alive in the world, I would love to work with you.  Writing, for me, has always been a depth experience, a way of getting into the deepest places where the gold of creativity waits to be found.  It’s a casting of a net, a way of finding your own truth, a way of seeing, a training of the ear, especially in poetry, … And, if you want to share your work in public, and connect with an audience in a way that is generous and powerful and undeniable, I would also love to work with you. "
